Idārat al-Azmāt al-Nabawiyyah
Idārat al-Azmāt al-Nabawiyyah denotes the Prophetic model of managing crises through spiritual guidance, strategic planning, ethical leadership, and communal responsibility. The Arabic azmah (pl. azamāt, commonly azmāt) signifies a severe and constricting hardship, and in Islamic thought crises are understood as trials (ibtilāʾ) affecting individuals and societies in their religious, social, economic, and political dimensions. The Qurʾān and the sunnah furnish a comprehensive framework for confronting adversity through patience (ṣabr), consultation (shūrā), reliance upon God (tawakkul), and resolute practical action; and the life of the Prophet Muḥammad ﷺ serves as the primary exemplar of crisis management in Islam, displaying wisdom, resilience, compassion, and foresight in the face of hardship.
