The coverage of this work extends to books, monographs, collected works, dissertations, theses, conference proceedings, Journal articles, etc. In addition to books and other materials 128 research journals in Urdu language from India and Pakistan have been surveyed. In this bibliography the life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be on him) has been divided under 50 main headings covering various dimension of his life and the entries have been arranged alphabetically according to author names under each category. At the end of the bibliography a list of the journals surveyed and author’s index have been given. According to the known scholars of Sirah and evaluators of this book, this is the unique work on Sirah in Urdu language so far. This bibliography will serve as a useful reference tool for those engaged in the research and study of Sirah.
