The bibliography contains a vast amount of material in major western languages including English, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Danish, Swedish and Serbo-Croatian. Turkish language has also been included because of its Roman script. There are 1825 entries in this bibliography. The coverage of this work extends to books, monographs, collected works, dissertations, theses, conference proceedings, book chapters, Journal articles, etc. An attempt has been made to give maximum coverage to the books, periodicals and other writings of scholars, whether Muslim or Non-Muslim. In this bibliography the life of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be on him) has been divided under 40 main headings covering various dimensions of his life and the entries have been arranged alphabetically according to author names under each category. At the end of the bibliography a list of the journals surveyed, author and subject indexes have been given. This book has won the 1^st prize in Nation Sirah Competition in the category of books in western languages in 2015. This book is considered one of the best reference tools for those engaged in the study of Sirah.
